So, Boston for me is in 4 weeks and I am going to change direction. Post Houston Marathon I have been maintaining milage to keep the endurance up but have decided to enjoy Boston and train and focus more on speed and the half marathon distance. By this time next year I want to have a 1:25 half and that’s going to take me getting comfortable at a 6:30 pace.  I love running and all distances but at some point I think as a runner you need to focus on diffrent areas within your running performances  to perfect and reach goals.

I have a passion for running and could do it everyday! While that’s a great thing I have to change it up with rest days, recovery runs, endurance runs, tempo runs, threshold runs,  speed etc…

Let’s see what happens! Bring on 2016!
