Ok, I love date nights but I also love my long runs which are usually on Saturdays! Most runners would agree that when weekend plans arise there is a section of your brain that begins to ponder how or when you will squeeze that run in! Do I drink? What should I eat? How late should I stay out? My husband and I usually try to go on a date once a week and like a middle school child I lay my running clothes out to make sure that no matter what my condition is after a fun night at 4am when the alarm sounds I can get dressed and get out the door! I have missed a run a time or two and the runners regret out weighs the Vodka Cranberry headache!
