On a personal note…
We are a family of runners! All different paces and distances but the love for the sport is there!!
After the birth of our twin boys in 2011 I had a high school cross country friend visit me and encourage me to get back into running.
Just six short months later, I ran my first 5k in over 30 minutes.
My only goal was to finish and from there I hopelessly fell in love with running. I did mostly 5k’s and slowly started creeping up in distance. (As a runner you learn to never say never) My first half was in November 2013 and my first full was in January 2015! I am a pr chaser and a dreamer! I have some pretty big goals and I won’t stop until I make them happen!
I run to inspire these boys!!! I hope they see that they can achieve anything they set their minds too!!
Totally and unbelievably blessed to be called mom by these handsome little men!
